On March 19, 1977, Herman and Kathy were united as one. Shortly there after, Herman decided he wanted to start a registered gray Brahman ranch. Not only did he embark on the cattle side of the livestock industry, but he also had a love for sheep and started a flock of his own. Herman started exhibiting and marketing his cattle throughout the state of Arkansas. Herman and Kathy have been married for 35 years and are still raising registered gray Brahman cattle, commercial cattle and sheep today. Herman and Kathy have three children who grew up in the show ring and still enjoy competing - Chad, Chelsey and Crystal. Chad graduated from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. Chad currently serves as the General Manager of Hampton Inn in Russellville. Chelsey is attending Texas Tech University working on her Ph.D. in Agricultural Communications and Education. She received her Masters in Agricultural Leadership degree from the University of Georgia and her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas. Crystal is attending Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, working on her master's in Meat Science. She received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas.
